Architect Gregory Enesi Icha is an accomplished architect, business leader and construction industry professional whose career spans more than four decades across architecture, construction, corporate management and strategic leadership. As Principal Managing Partner of Grid and M Consulting, Kaduna, he provides executive leadership and professional direction to the firm, bringing together strong architectural expertise, commercial insight and extensive experience managing complex organizations and projects.
He earned his B.Sc. in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1979, graduating with distinction as the recipient of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) Best All-Round Performer’s Prize. He subsequently obtained his M.Sc. from Ahmadu Bello University in 1981. His earlier academic journey included studies at the School of Basic Preliminary Studies, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and the Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin.
His professional career reflects an uncommon breadth of leadership experience. In addition to his longstanding role as a Director of Grid and M Consulting, he served as Director of PII Nigeria Ltd, a building and construction company, from 1986, further strengthening his experience in construction delivery and business management. He also held the senior corporate position of General Manager at Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Ltd, adding significant executive and operational leadership experience to his architectural background.
Architect Icha’s multidisciplinary career has equipped him with a distinctive ability to approach the built environment not only from a design perspective, but also through the lenses of project viability, organizational leadership, construction execution and long-term value creation.
His professional affiliations include the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), the Nigerian Institute of Management, the International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), as well as fellowship within his professional community.

Professor Nat Aniekwu is a distinguished architect, construction management scholar and industry consultant with more than four decades of experience spanning academia, architectural practice, project delivery, institutional leadership and international consultancy. As Director/Partner at Grid and M Consulting, Kaduna, he brings a rare combination of technical expertise, design insight, research depth and strategic leadership to the firm’s architectural and construction management practice.
He is presently Professor of Construction Management in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Benin, where he has also served in several senior leadership capacities, including Director of the Faculty of Engineering Works Group and Pioneer Director of the University of Benin Centre for Part-Time Programmes. His academic and professional career has had a strong international dimension, including work with the Department of Architecture and Design at Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan, from 1989 to 1991, as well as service as an Associate Consultant with RCA Associates, Georgia, USA.
Professor Aniekwu has also contributed to major policy and industry initiatives. In 1988, he served as a consultant to the World Bank on the challenges facing Nigeria’s construction industry, underscoring his long-standing involvement in research, policy development and the advancement of construction practice in Nigeria. He has also served as a Member of the Governing Council of Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
He undertook postgraduate studies at the Postgraduate School of Architecture, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, from 1979 to 1981, and is affiliated with leading professional institutions, including the Nigerian Institute of Architects, the Chartered Institute of Building, United Kingdom, and the Institute of Construction Management, United Kingdom.
